Clean, green and highly efficient
These days, rural and coastal living calls for new
levels of environmental awareness. Compliance issues are ever-present,
especially where wastewater is concerned.
That’s where our experience, design expertise
and familiarity with territorial authority requirements benefit
our clients. drains.co is fully conversant and experienced with
primary and secondary wastewater installations.
Conventional anaerobic septic systems are primary
wastewater systems that have stood the test of time. A septic tank
system may be the most cost-effective choice for small, three-four
bedroom dwellings on a suitable rural site.
We design, supply and install such systems with close
reference to the Auckland Regional Council’s Technical Publication
58 (for onsite wastewater system design and management).
One of the safest and most efficient wastewater solutions
is an on-site secondary treatment plant.
drains.co Ltd is the authorised South Auckland distributor
for the outstanding Oasis Clearwater Series - technology that has
revolutionised the disposal of wastewater in sensitive areas.
Our service includes supply and installation, including
excavation if required (electrical connection is not included),
and we provide a 10-year warranty for concrete and two-year warranty
for electric componentry.
Here’s how the revolutionary Oasis 2000 Series system works
The Oasis 2000 Series is an aerated waste water treatment
system with five stages of treatment.
- The system comprises a pre-treatment chamber feeding to a secondary
treatment chamber. Liquid flows into the aeration chamber.
- In the aeration chamber, with the use of a fine air diffuser
assembly, thousands of tiny air bubbles provide oxygen for aerobic
digestion and mix the contents of the aeration chamber.
- Waste water is introduced to the clarification chamber by hydraulic
dispersment.
- Settled sludge is transferred back to the pre-treatment chamber
to further enhance treatment.
- Further biological and mechanical filtration occurs by the
use of a high performance filter, prior to final pump and discharge
chamber.
